Corporate Disclosures Contingency Income Disclosure The duty of CBJW in placing insurance coverage for our clients is putting their interest in the transaction first. Insurance is placed with the insurance company or insurance companies that provide the terms, conditions and services necessary to meet the needs of our clients at a competitive price. It has never been the practice of this agency to place business with any insurance company based on the potential of receiving contingencies from them. The Crichton Group is compensated through commissions and/or fees for services provided in connection with placement of insurance products on behalf of our clients. In addition to commissions or fees we have standard industry contingency agreements with some of our primary insurance companies. Through these agreements we may earn additional compensation based on factors such as profitability, volume of business and growth. These agreements are based on our agency's overall performance with that insurance company and not individual accounts. This additional compensation, when earned, is used by CBJ&W to expand client services in marketing, automation, claims administration, and loss control. |
